Chris Midmore was born and raised in Vancouver and has been involved in commercial real estate since 1979. Prior to joining Macdonald Commercial in 1990, he was a consistent top performer with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate Services (Cushman Wakefield) for 10 years.
Chris has sold properties to, and acted exclusively for, such clients as Canada Life, British Pacific Properties, Larco Investments, Republic of China Government, Penreal Investments, Wall Financial, BC Hydro, Loblaws Properties, Birks, Phillips Electronics, Intrawest, Canada Safeway, Hong Kong. Bank Trust, Royal Bank, Zurich Indemnity, Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, Royal Colombian Hospital Foundation, Canadian Forest Products Limited, Smart Centres and many of B.C.'s largest multi-family developers.
Chris specializes in the sale of investment properties and development sites. He has sold properties as diverse as a 120,000-square foot office building in downtown Vancouver to a 300-acre industrial/commercial site in Coquitlam to a 100-acre mixed-use site in South Surrey.
Chris has lectured at British Columbia Institute of Technology on land assembly.
Chris’ community involvement includes being a current Director and past Chair of Surrey Hospital & Outpatient Centre Foundation. He was also Chair of the Emergency Centre Campaign and is the current Chair of the Patron’s Council. Surrey Memorial Hospital is British Columbia’s second largest hospital.
