Tracy was born and raised in Chengdu – a historically and culturally famous city in Western China, and moved to Vancouver to pursue her university education at UBC, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with a specialization in Environment and Sustainability.
Tracy began her real estate career working in project marketing for a major Chinese developer, which led to her completing the Real Estate Licensing Course at the UBC Sauder School of Business. She then worked as a client service assistant for a national top-producing retail and investment team at CBRE Vancouver Office.
Since joining Macdonald Commercial Real Estate, Tracy has been involved in the sale of multi-family and commercial development properties, wineries and vineyards, resort/recreational property, and Court Ordered Sales. As a member of the BC Niche Properties Group she has worked with Mike Riesterer in promoting non-traditional investment properties, and properties located outside the Lower Mainland.
Tracy is fluent in English and Mandarin and she has extensive connections with local Chinese communities. She is the vice president of Canadian Sichuanese Friendship Association(CSFA), and an associate with Canadian Alliance of Chinese Associations (CACA), the most reputable Chinese association in Greater Vancouver that maintains a close tie with Consulate-General of The People’s Republic of China in Vancouver. CACA currently has over 100 active BC-based Chinese organizations as regular members, and a number of influential business figures as honoured members.
Tracy is going through her diploma program in Urban Land Economics at UBC; she is currently pursuing her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation; and she is a member with Urban Development Institute (UDI).
